Green Graphite Technologies adds commercialization and innovation experience to its leadership team.

Green Graphite Technologies Inc. (“GGT”), a leader in sustainable graphite solutions for the electric vehicle (EV) industry, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tom Whitton as Vice President, Project Development. Reporting to the company’s CEO, Mr. Whitton will leverage his 30+ years of technical, operational and business experience in the cleantech, environmental and metallurgical innovation space to support GGT on its journey to becoming the leading global solutions provider of lithium-ion battery-grade graphite manufacturing and recycling.
Thomas (Tom) Whitton, Eng., graduated in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from McGill University. Mr. Whitton began his career as a process engineer, working for larger multinational companies in the explosives and metallurgical fields. In 2000, Tom transitioned to business development in the innovation space, occupying techno-commercial roles with emerging cleantech companies where he played a pivotal role in helping to commercialize disruptive technologies.
